The Inventory Control Associate supports inventory accuracy and operational efficiency within a distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role manages inventory activities through regular warehouse movement, frequent lifting and material handling, and a balance of administrative and physical duties. This position offers an advancement path toward Warehouse Operations Lead.
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate receiving activities and verify incoming inventory.
- Support accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct warehouse audits and identify inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports.
- Use barcode scanning and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Lift, move, and handle materials throughout the distribution center.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in inventory control.
- Associate degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with barcode scanning and inventory auditing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
