SOZI AI Inc. is a mission-driven health technology startup building The Final Stretch™, an AI-powered digital health platform for the youth, designed to make preventive health education engaging, interactive, and accessible for younger generations. Our mission is to leverage artificial intelligence, behavioral science, and gamification to improve long-term health outcomes, beginning with colorectal cancer prevention and expanding into broader preventive healthcare. We have launched our platform, acquired early users, received multiple five-star reviews, and are actively preparing for App Store deployment, institutional pilots, and currently fundraising.
Role Description
SOZI AI is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven, and technically exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding leadership team. This is not a traditional executive role at a mature company. This is an opportunity to help build and scale a company from its early stages and directly influence the future of digital health. As CTO, you will serve as the organization's technical leader and work directly with the Founder & CEO to shape the company's long-term vision, product strategy, engineering culture, and technical roadmap. Our engineering team currently possesses strong backend expertise, and we are seeking a leader who can provide broader technical leadership across full-stack systems, infrastructure, mobile deployment, artificial intelligence, scalability, and future engineering growth.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on: someone who is comfortable making executive-level decisions while also rolling up their sleeves to solve complex technical challenges when needed.
You will play a critical role in helping SOZI AI:
- Scale from early traction to widespread adoption
- Launch and optimize our App Store presence
- Strengthen cloud infrastructure and reliability
- Expand AI-powered platform capabilities
- Recruit and mentor future engineering talent
- Support fundraising efforts and technical due diligence
- Build technology that creates measurable public health impact

Required Qualifications
- Experience building and shipping software products
- Strong full-stack technical understanding
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS included)
- Deep understanding of scalable software architecture
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving startup environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at startups or venture-backed companies
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Mobile application deployment experience (iOS/App Store preferred)
- AI/LLM integration experience
- Healthtech, digital health, or healthcare experience
- Experience supporting fundraising or investor diligence
Compensation
