Qualis LLC is seeking an Information Management Specialist in support of our customer at Eglin AFB, FL.
Essential Duties:
- Provide advice and assistance in Cybersecurity/Information Management. Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments, and must be capable of planning and developing projects concerned with unique or controversial items that have a major effect on the program(s).
- Perform work involving exploration of the subject area, including defining scope, and identifying problems for investigation.
- Advise and assist the Government with cybersecurity, information, technology, documentation, review, and continuous monitoring duties required by the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Air Force Instruction 17-101, Risk Management Framework.
- Provide advice and assistance in customer service support of operating, managing, monitoring, and scheduling secure video teleconference capability (VTC) and conferencing and communication enhancement equipment requirements in support of 96 TW/AP or associated units at Eglin AFB FL.
- Ensure that security personnel have verified appropriate security clearance for participants in a secure VTC. knowledge of regulations and directives concerning VTC practices and procedures.
- Provide advice and assistance performing COMSEC duties, and shall provide advice and assistance regarding secure telephone management and use.
- Provide advice and assistance services in support of areas of Cybersecurity Client Support Liaison as defined by directives and regulations, on any information system activities related to standard information system interfaces with DoD/AF/Eglin network computer systems. All network-related security patch management, hardware and software upgrades, installs, diagnosis, and troubleshooting efforts on Government owned assets shall be coordinated with the Information Assurance Officer (IAO) or Information System Security Manage (ISSM).
- Provide advice and assistance services in support of maintaining and tracking suspenses for items such as project meetings, team meetings, IPTs, status reports, taskers, etc.
- Assist in maintaining Memorandums of Agreement (MOA), spreadsheets and other documentation as needed.
- Assist in support of organizing, reviewing, and tracking equipment.
- Provide advice and assistance with escort duties within their assigned 96 TW advanced program facilities, as required
- Advise and assist Government personnel by attending and participating in organizational reviews, audits, and assist with briefings, meetings and working groups.
- Support government-required IT-related initial and annual refresher training.
- Participate, as required, in training (approved and funded by the Government) necessary to function in assigned positions when changes in the IT hardware/software architecture or the direction/focus of cybersecurity policy impacts the Contractor’s ability to effectively support 96 TW/AP.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree required with a minimum of 0-3 years of related experience. Experience may be substituted for education with approval from the customer.
- Must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Must have a CompTIA Security+, GSEC certification or equivalent
- Must complete training on the specific operating system or environment that will be used within 3 months of starting, if operating systems or environment changes, additional training may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Security X/CASP or GSLC certification.
