We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our growing team in the Indianapolis area. This customer-facing role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity.

What We’re Looking For:
• 2–5 years of fiber optic or telecom experience
• Proficiency with OTDRs, fusion splicers, and testing equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables in indoor, outdoor, underground, and aerial environments.
- Perform end-to-end testing using OTDRs, fusion splicers, power meters, and network analyzers.
- Troubleshoot issues such as signal loss, degraded performance, and drop-related problems.
- Run OTDR tests, complete fusion splicing, and replace drops as needed.
- Work with fiber counts larger than 4.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and test results.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and specifications.
- Educate customers on equipment usage and provide troubleshooting support.

- BICSI Installer 2 (Fiber)
- Certified Fiber Optic Specialist (CFOS) – FOA
- OSHA 10 Construction Safety
- First Aid/CPR
