Position Overview
The Commercial Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical projects. This role requires a balance of hands-on project management and accurate estimating, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors

Develop and manage project schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues

Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for constructability

Oversee material procurement, subcontractors, and labor resources

Track job costs, monitor financial performance, and prepare progress reports

Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies

Build and maintain strong client relationships
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of commercial electrical project management experience

Proven experience with electrical estimating (labor, material, subcontractor pricing)

Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, codes, and standards

Proficiency with estimating and PM software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or MS Project

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
-
Valid electrical license or Journeyman/Master certification
