SUPERIOR SKILLED TRADES is partnered with a growing electrical contractor seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager with strong estimating expertise. This direct-hire role offers a stable schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to oversee high-impact commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monday–Friday

  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview

The Commercial Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical projects. This role requires a balance of hands-on project management and accurate estimating, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors

  • Develop and manage project schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues

  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for constructability

  • Oversee material procurement, subcontractors, and labor resources

  • Track job costs, monitor financial performance, and prepare progress reports

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial electrical project management experience

  • Proven experience with electrical estimating (labor, material, subcontractor pricing)

  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, codes, and standards

  • Proficiency with estimating and PM software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or MS Project

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Valid electrical license or Journeyman/Master certification
