The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures and activities to create detailed diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The Radiology Technologist collaborates with members of the radiology and health care team to promote total patient care.

Minimum Requirements:
\n
High School diploma or its equivalent certification
\n Certificate, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology if required by state/contract
\n Current ARRT license preferred
\n State specific licensure if required by state/contract
\n One-year relevant experience as a radiology technologist preferred
\n Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
\n Current CPR if applicable
\n TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
\n Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
\n Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
\n Must be at least 18 years of age
\n

\n Details of Assignment: DRCI - All male prison, housing adults in minimum and medium security units Average of 2-5 scans per day (could be more or less) Additional resposibilities will include: lab draws, scheduling labs/xrays, assisting ultrasound tech once a month with patient prep Ability to do phlebotomy is required
