Associate – Privacy & Cyber (Transactional)

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Privacy & Cyber Associate (3rd–5th year) to support its thriving Transactional Privacy Practice. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge privacy and cybersecurity issues at the intersection of technology, law, and business.

You Will:

• Advise on CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy laws

• Support M&A, IPOs, and other corporate deals with privacy components

• Negotiate privacy and security terms in commercial agreements

• Work with top-tier clients on fast-evolving regulatory matters and tech innovations

You Have:

• 5+ years of legal experience in privacy, data security, or cyber law

• Solid transactional background (especially in tech, commercial contracts, or M&A)

• Exceptional writing, communication, and negotiation skills

• A passion for privacy and tech—CIPP is a plus!

• Strong law firm training and excellent academic credentials
