Job Description
This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and processing merchandise and returns within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will use push carts and RF scanners to fulfill orders, manage inventory, and ensure that returned products are thoroughly inspected, properly repackaged, and made ready for resale. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and comfort working on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise by foot using a push cart, following labels and VIN numbers accurately.
- Read and interpret product labels and VIN numbers to ensure correct item selection and order fulfillment.
- Complete fulfillment orders including receiving new merchandise, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
- Prepare merchandise for stock put-away, ensuring items are organized and ready for storage.
- Work in the returns section to process returned products, including opening packages and inspecting items.
- Inspect returned merchandise for stains, rips, tears, or signs of wear, ensuring only acceptable items are restocked.
- Repackage, relabel, and reseal returned items so they are ready to be placed back on the sales floor.
- Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and maintain inventory integrity.
- Use RF scanners and RF scan guns to track, manage, and update inventory in real time.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately, ensuring system records match physical inventory.
- Assist with inventory projects, including transferring bins and materials between different warehouse locations.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned work areas to support efficient operations.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times while handling materials and equipment.
- Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
Essential Skills
- Experience with inventory handling and material handling in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to accurately pick and pack orders using labels and VIN numbers.
- Comfort using RF scanners and RF scan guns to manage inventory and update records in real time.
- Ability to use computers and mobile technology as part of daily warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting returned products for stains, rips, tears, and signs of wear.
- Capability to perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Reliability in maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Capacity to handle a physical workload, including moving inventory bins and materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with packaging and repackaging merchandise for resale.
- From in production or fulfillment environments.
- Familiarity with shipping processes and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with frequent walking and standing.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Work Environment
This is a physically active warehouse role where you will be on your feet and walking for most of a 12-hour shift from 12:00 PM (noon) to 12:30 AM. You will work in a production and fulfillment environment that uses computers, mobile devices, RF scanners, and RF scan guns to manage inventory and process orders. The work involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving inventory bins throughout the shift. The facility emphasizes safety, organization, and cleanliness in all work areas, and you should be prepared for a practical, warehouse-appropriate dress code suited to continuous movement and material handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
