Job DescriptionDescription:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise is correctly priced and displayed.

  • Answer customer questions and provide information about products and promotions.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming merchandise.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, priced, and organized according to company standards.
  • Rotate products to ensure freshness and remove expired items
  • Use the FIFO method to display the product
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, and work areas.
  • Perform duties outside your assigned area when called upon by the General Manager or Market Manager as needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
