Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and regulatory compliance of telecommunications assets, ensuring adherence to legal standards.

• Prepare and submit broadband and voice technology regulatory filings, including Broadband Data Collection, Urban Rate Surveys, and filings with the California Public Utilities Commission.

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory changes at both state and federal levels, ensuring the organization's compliance.

• Manage mergers and acquisitions schedules while handling license renewals and modifications.

• Conduct regulatory research to support organizational decision-making and compliance efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal and regulatory challenges effectively.

• Provide expert counsel on telecommunications law and regulatory matters.

• Develop and implement strategies to manage legal risks within the telecommunications sector.

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and maintain accurate records of regulatory filings.

• Advise on the legal aspects of telecommunications operations and assets valued at billions of dollars.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active licensure to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience in telecommunications law and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage high-value assets and oversee complex filings.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal legislative processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and license management.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills to navigate regulatory challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work within cross-functional teams.
