The Company

Our client is a large, well-established professional services organization with a multi-entity, international footprint. The finance team recently went live on a new enterprise ERP and is now working to stabilize and strengthen its core accounting operations.
\n
\n
The Role
\n
Controller reporting into the accounting leadership team, managing one Accounting Manager who leads a team of four. The team is relatively new, so this is not a pure oversight role. The right person will get into the details, fix the balance sheet, stabilize intercompany processes after the system transition, and bring structure to a team that is still forming.

What You'll Own
\n
- \n
- Full month-end close, delivered on time and without surprises
- Balance sheet integrity and reconciliation review
- Intercompany accounting, settlements, and eliminations across domestic and international entities
- Consolidated financial reporting
- External audit coordination
- Post-implementation cleanup and process design in the new ERP
- Developing and stabilizing the accounting team

Profile
\n
- \n
- 7 to 10 years of accounting experience with true close ownership
- Strong intercompany and consolidation experience (required)
- Hands-on leader willing to do the work alongside the team
- Comfortable building structure where processes are still settling
- Traditional controllers, and Assistant Controllers from mid-size organizations ready to step into more scale and complexity, are both a fit
- Public accounting foundation a plus
- Multi-currency and Tier 1 ERP experience helpful, not required
