Associate Field Service Engineer

Job DescriptionStep into a hands?on technical role where you’ll keep advanced robotic systems running at peak performance. You’ll be the go?to expert on-site—diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, and getting production back online fast.

What You’ll Do

• Tackle real-world troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on industrial robots, controllers, electrical systems, and peripheral equipment.
• Jump into action when customers need help—sometimes with same?day travel—to diagnose problems and get systems running again.
• Program and fine?tune robot paths to restore or optimize performance.
• Provide phone-based support when remote troubleshooting is the fastest solution.
• Capture what you find—issues, fixes, patterns—to help improve long-term system reliability.
• Train operators and maintenance teams on-site so they can run and support their equipment more effectively.
• Keep your tool kit sharp, your reports accurate, and your schedule flexible so you can respond quickly when needed.

What You Bring

• Experience working with industrial robots, automation systems, or electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic prints—and bonus points if you can interpret PLC ladder logic.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and clear technical communication.
• Comfort working independently at customer sites, including in tight spaces, noisy environments, or elevated areas.
• Willingness to travel, work occasional off-shifts, and put in extra hours when a customer is down.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform detailed mechanical/electrical repairs.
