Job DescriptionJob Title: Commercial Lease Administrator Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
Location: Atlanta, GA (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
Shift: Monday – Friday, standard business hours (flexible schedule available)
Pay: $22-24/hour

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Review and interpret commercial lease agreements to ensure compliance with contractual terms and financial obligations.
  • Support administration of a portfolio of retail store leases, including lease terminations and documentation updates.
  • Perform lease-related reconciliations and review charges to ensure accuracy based on lease agreements.
  • Communicate directly with landlords and property managers to address questions, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Maintain accurate lease records and update lease data within internal systems such as CoStar or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including real estate and risk management to support lease administration activities.
  • Track key lease information including rent schedules, payment details, and landlord contact information.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to lease activity and support reporting needs for leadership.
  • Assist with process improvements and administrative support for the lease administration team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with commercial leases (retail or corporate real estate portfolios preferred).
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial lease agreements required; residential leasing experience alone will not be sufficient.
  • Experience with systems such as PeopleSoft or CoStar preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple lease documents and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details:

  • Reports to the Accounting Lease Supervisor.
  • Interview process consists of two virtual interviews.
