We are seeking a Safety And Security Personnel to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will identify and mitigate risks to staff and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and alarms to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
- Supervise and implement safety protocols during outings
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or youth
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Alert and aware of surroundings

We are located in a rural area, north of Spokane near Diamond Lake. We are Joint Commission Certified. We need employees for this position who love to mentor and have fun with Cedar Creek youth riding ATV's, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, shopping, going to movies, riding horses, working with therapy dogs and swimming. These are a few of the daily activities you will be doing with our youth. This employee is responsible to keep youth safe during outings and all daily activities. Close supervision is a large part of this position. There are also responsibilities involving de-escalation and ensuring that staff and youth are safe during escalations.
