POSITION SUMMARY:
Store Managers are responsible for driving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrink results. Developing and leading an effective team while increasing sales and profits of your assigned locations will be the most important part of your job. Your hands-on leadership and management expertise will allow our organization to grow. This job is composed of a variety of tasks that are covered by general operating procedures but will also require extensive individual judgment to ensure successful operation of the store.

- Vape #1 – 3939 Mexico Road / St. Peters, MO 63376
- Vape #2 – 2147 Barret Station Road / St. Louis, MO 63131
- Coughing Cardinal-Canton – Canton, MO
- Coughing Cardinal Warehouse – 4144 Ehlmann Road / St. Peters, MO 63376
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement payroll plans that adhere to pay equity and budget.
- Display strong merchandise throughout the store and execute plan-o-grams.
- Ensure merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stocked according to inventory levels appropriate for each individual store.
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the store and maintain a working knowledge of products and services.
- Supervise, train, and develop store managers and hourly store personnel in all areas and functions required to run the store effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure all employees provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure all expenses are maintained within the planned budget through weekly reporting metrics in coordination with the General Manager (i.e.: Headcount, budget, Leave, FMLA, Disciplinary actions, trending sales)
- Be familiar with and enforce all company policies and the employee handbook.
- Oversee the implementation of special promotions and advertising events.
- Maintain effective communication between store and all support departments through reporting, in-person meetings and virtual meetings as needed.
- Ensure the store is following OSHA requirements and all safety procedures to include anything in the store that may be a hazard to employees or customers.
- Promptly manage any escalated customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Additional duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 – 5 years of retail management experience
- Flexibility to work any open store hours in the absence of management or as needed.
- Proven skills in business analysis, with the ability to execute company standards goals and financial plans successfully.
- Experience producing results, managing, and developing employees, and succeeding in a retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a meticulous manner.
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills for effective problem solving.
- Initiative-taking leader capable of motivating others to achieve company goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills in-person and over the phone
- Must possess strong work ethic and people skills and be highly organized, able to multi-task and be meticulous in a demanding environment.
- Intermediate to advance computer skills (spreadsheets, presentations, reporting)
Job Type: Full-time (Exempt)
Shift: Morning / Day / Evening and Weekend availability as needed to be successful
