Position Title: Janitor

Position Type / Location / Compensation

· - Full-Time (hours may vary)

· - Location: Lebanon and Dauphin Counties, PA

· - Compensation: $19.50 per hour

Position Overview

· - The Lebanon County Housing & Redevelopment Authorities are seeking an outgoing individual with excellent janitorial skills for an entry-level custodial position.

· - This role is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of properties in Lebanon and Dauphin Counties, PA, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

· - Maintain cleanliness both inside and outside buildings.

· - Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

· - Stock, clean, and sanitize restrooms.

· - Collect and empty trash.

· - Perform deep cleaning on a rotational schedule.

· - Conduct daily checks of maintenance closets and equipment for safety and cleanliness.

· - Assist with miscellaneous maintenance tasks as needed.

· - Maintain all public and office spaces in a clean, sanitary, and orderly manner.

· - Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

· - High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).

· - Valid PA Driver’s License.

· - Ability to perform physical tasks effectively and safely.

· - Must be able to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.

· - Ability to work well with coworkers and others in a team-oriented environment.

· - Organized, efficient, dependable, and prompt.

· - Bilingual is a plus.
