Job Description
Our client is a well-established and growing personal injury law firm based in Bingham Farms, Michigan. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a dynamic personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will have experience managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution, with a strong interest in litigation and client advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through settlement or trial
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and case evaluations
- Negotiate settlements and assist with trial preparation and trial work as needed
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan (or ability to obtain promptly)
- 1–5 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience handling depositions and court appearances is a plus
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

- The annual salary for this position is between $70,000-$100,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
