We are seeking a project administrator to join our team! This project administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to project management teams, you will ensure that projects run smoothly by handling tasks that allow project managers to focus on planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
- Supporting project managers in coordinating and managing project tasks and activities
- Preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation
- Monitoring project progress and addressing potential issues
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Helping prepare project proposals, timeframes, and budget
- Monitoring and tracking project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
- Acting as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Creating and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Qualifications
● Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience in construction or skilled trades
● Associate’s degree in construction management, Project Management, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
● Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
● Self-motivated and able to work independently
Work Environment
● Combination of office and field work, including active job site visits
● Must be comfortable walking job sites and interacting with field crews
● May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability based on project needs
