Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Overview:
JDM Auto Pros is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with a wide range of vehicles—especially Japanese domestic models—and is passionate about diagnostics, repair, and performance optimization. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake service, suspension work, and engine diagnostics
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or safety concerns
- Work on performance upgrades, modifications, and Knowledge of aftermarket parts (preferred but not required)
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors
- Keep a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.)
- Experience with Japanese vehicles (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, etc.) preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
- ASE certification is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
