WHAT YOU’LL DO
- The Global Market Intelligence Analyst has responsibility for conducting global sales analysis and establishing consistent sales forecast reporting globally.
- Support analyses and create/maintain global models in the areas of product line trends and product mix changes.
- Support Global Market Intelligence in tracking and reporting Abbott’s share position and performance metrics that will be used in tactical and strategic business decisions for Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio.
- Works closely with geographic partners via matrix (finance, marketing & sales) to align on sales and Abbott share at a country/regional level. Ensure units are accurately captured in global forecasts.
- Quickly develop understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management products, procedures and market dynamics. Essential success factors for the position include attention to detail and high-level analytical skills with expertise in Excel, working under tight deadlines.
- Assist is collecting and recording competitive activities collected by the group at a regular cadence
- Champion improvements in data quality, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities

- Power BI (viewing dashboards, not programming).
- Communication & presentation skills.

- • Experience in Salesforce.
- • Background in medical device or life sciences.
- • Ability to handle ad hoc requests with agility.
- Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years experience.
- Industry experience: Preferred in medical/pharma/life sciences.
- Typical day: Desk work, analytics, reporting, slide creation, stakeholder presentations.
- Interaction: Market Insights team, marketing, R&D, leadership.
- Personality traits: Team player, agile, “whole-brain thinker” (connect data points).
- Challenges faced: Data restatements from vendors, alignment in forecasting, ad hoc requests.
