IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Parma, OH (on‑site)
Duration: 3–6 months (contract, flexible hours)
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support the transition of a manufacturing facility onto our client's corporate IT network. This role will manage on‑site execution while coordinating closely with our client's centralized IT organization and local engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the migration of shopfloor and office workstations to our client's IT standards
- Support the transition of Epicor ERP from on‑prem servers to Azure (managed by our client's IT)
- Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and testing
- Coordinate network activities including cabling, switches, printers, and peripherals
- Work with third‑party IT and network vendors as needed
- Track project tasks, timelines, and dependencies
- Serve as the on‑site point of contact for IT coordination
- Communicate progress and issues clearly to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- General experience in IT infrastructure, systems, or network support
- Working knowledge of Windows workstations and basic networking concepts
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a small, lean environment
- Comfort managing projects with remote stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or plant environments
- Exposure to ERP systems (Epicor a plus)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Previous contract or project‑based IT experience
