Job Description

SmileWorks Childrens Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and detail-oriented Front Desk Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with children and families and thrives in a fast-paced dental environment.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in shaping the SmileWorks experience. We are looking for someone with strong operational awareness, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in a dental, orthodontic, or pediatric practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for patients and families

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone

  • Support efficient front-office operations to meet performance goals

  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills

  • Accurately implement and follow office policies, procedures, and directives

  • Assist in maintaining a smooth, organized, and patient-centered office flow

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven track record of excellent customer service

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced dental office (preferred)

  • Experience in group dental, orthodontic, or pediatric practices preferred

  • Knowledge of dental insurance plans and verification processes

  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts

  • Monday through Friday
