Job DescriptionOur manufacturing client in the Irwin, PA area is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to perform administrative and technical support for the Engineering Department.
-Assist engineers with project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
-Monitor deadlines and deliverables to support timely project completion.
-Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical files.
-Administer engineering change requests and change orders using established workflows.
-Ensure all documentation complies with ISO and internal quality standards.
-Coordinate and track all technical support requests from Assembly, Sourcing, Service, Applications, -Contract Shop, and Proposal Engineering.
-Facilitate effective communication between engineering and other departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.
-Apply redline updates to drawings and generate new part numbers and revisions.
-Assist with generating and tracking Engineering KPIs and performance metrics.
-Record meeting minutes, follow up on assigned actions, and prepare regular project status reports and progress updates for management.
-Associate or Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
-1-3 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical support environment.
-Hands-on experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
-Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical drawings.
