Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to end user support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of Hyper-V virtual machines.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral equipment.
  • Assist with user Active Directory/Microsoft 365/Entra ID account management, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Setup and configuration of Cisco desk phones and Webex app.
  • Utilize ConnectWise RMM tools for monitoring and remote support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and best practices.
  • Maintain inventory of PC’s, laptops, and printers.
  • Support IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1–2 years in a technical support or help desk role preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, MacOS a plus.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
    • Experience with Microsoft 365/Office/Entra ID and Active Directory.
    • Experience using Connectwise RMM tools.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA A+
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Work Environment

  • Office-based onsite in Sparta, MI
  • Travel between companies in Sparta, MI required
  • May require lifting and moving IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
