Key Responsibilities
- Respond to end user support requests.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of Hyper-V virtual machines.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral equipment.
- Assist with user Active Directory/Microsoft 365/Entra ID account management, including password resets and access permissions.
- Setup and configuration of Cisco desk phones and Webex app.
- Utilize ConnectWise RMM tools for monitoring and remote support.
- Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and best practices.
- Maintain inventory of PC’s, laptops, and printers.
- Support IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1–2 years in a technical support or help desk role preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, MacOS a plus.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with Microsoft 365/Office/Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Experience using Connectwise RMM tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA A+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Work Environment
- Office-based onsite in Sparta, MI
- Travel between companies in Sparta, MI required
- May require lifting and moving IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
