About the Role:

The Summer Intern - Project Management will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various projects within the organization. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices while working alongside experienced professionals. The intern will contribute to coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely completion of objectives. Through this role, the intern will develop a strong foundation in managing project timelines, resources, and risks, preparing them for future careers in project management or related fields. Ultimately, the intern will help drive project success by assisting in maintaining organization, efficiency, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or coursework related to project management or business operations.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.
  • Analytical skills to assist in data collection and reporting.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to facilitate effective communication among project team members.
  • Track project progress and update status reports to ensure transparency and timely identification of potential issues.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying potential risks and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
