A skilled Staff Pharmacist is needed to provide exceptional pharmacy services with a focus on prescription verification and patient counseling. This per diem position offers a dynamic work schedule across multiple New York locations during a short-term assignment in October.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately verifying prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Offering detailed patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care
Qualifications:
- Valid NY State Pharmacist license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist with strong knowledge of medication management
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
Locations and Schedule:
- Primary worksite: Woodstock, NY
- Travel required to Harrisville, NY on October 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16
- Monday through Friday, Day Shift from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Closed on weekends
