An energy client of Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide deskside support for internal employees across multiple office locations in the Houston area. In this role, you’ll be the first layer of technical support, handling common issues such as printer troubleshooting, password resets, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity problems, and Microsoft Suite assistance. You will also support Dell and HP desktops and laptops, as well as Android and iPhone devices, perform basic desktop imaging and setup, and escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when needed. This position involves working closely with end users in person, traveling between their Houston office locations as required, and collaborating with a team. Additionally, this person must have reliable transportation and be able to drive themselves between the office locations, and will receive mileage reimbursement


Must Haves:

  • 1-3 years of experience in L1/L2 desktop support
  • Strong communication skills for deskside support and client interaction
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting: (Printers, Password resets, Wi-Fi and Internet issues) -- HP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work onsite and travel throughout
  • Reliable source of transportation and valid Driver's License
