Job Summary:
iLynx is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Infor HRIS / Lawson S3, complemented by hands-on experience supporting or integrating with Workday HCM. This role supports a Federal Agency Human Resources Information System environment serving the U.S. Congress.
The consultant will deliver technical development, system enhancements, and full lifecycle support for the agency’s HRIS platforms—including HR, payroll, benefits administration, reporting, and employee self-service systems. This role works closely with HR functional stakeholders, system administrators, and technical teams to design, develop, test, and implement system modifications driven by evolving business requirements and federal legislative mandates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance custom functionality within the Infor HRIS (Lawson S3) environment, including 4GL programs, integrations, and web-based HR applications.
- Support Workday HCM activities such as data validation, functional testing, troubleshooting, and Workday-to-Lawson integrations.
- Build and maintain HR, payroll, and regulatory reporting using LBI, Crystal Reports, XML outputs, and other enterprise reporting tools.
- Design and support automated data extracts, interfaces, and cross-module integrations (HR, payroll, benefits, finance).
- Troubleshoot system issues, performance problems, and workflow errors across ESS, MSS, and custom HR applications.
- Support full SDLC activities including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of system updates.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Infor HRIS / Lawson S3
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM (data analysis, reporting, testing, integrations, or configuration support).
- Proficiency in Lawson 4GL, Lawson ProcessFlow/IPA, and Lawson security concepts.
- Experience developing web-based HR applications, interfaces, and customizations.
- Strong skills using reporting tools such as Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI), Crystal Reports, and XML reporting.
- Experience supporting integrations across HR, payroll, benefits, and financial systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system, interface, and workflow issues.
- Familiarity with ESS/MSS, payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functional areas.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing and deployment processes.
- Strong documentation skills for technical specs, test plans, and data mapping.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and HR teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a federal or highly regulated environment.
- Has previously worked within the Fed Civ Space.
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting public sector or federal government HR systems.
- Knowledge of federal HR, payroll, and benefits administration requirements.
- Experience implementing legislative compliance updates within HR systems.
- Familiarity with Infor OS and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Experience building custom HR workflows such as: Leave management, Overtime calculations, and Payroll reporting.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise HR environments.
