Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK through 5th-grade students as part of a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathology team. This role is ideal for both experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) eager to make a meaningful impact in pediatric education settings. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering a structured, 39-hour workweek.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or pending state SLP license required
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of PreK-5th grade students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Engage with families and staff to support student progress and advocacy
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities as assigned
