Join our Cross Plains, WI team and help us elevate what’s possible in precision machining—from tooling and mold work to thermoforming and plastics manufacturing, including thin-gauge components (0.007"–.120"). We’re adding multiple contributors who blend hands-on setup, steady operation, and practical programming know-how to keep quality high and throughput steady.
Your impact
- Own CNC setups and production on mills (3–4 axis VMC) and lathes (2–4 axis), primarily Fanuc and Mazatrol.
- Translate prints and GD&T into stable, repeatable processes; verify dimensions and finishes.
- Use shop math to select feeds/speeds and convert between metric and imperial units.
- Maintain tolerances and surface finishes across varied materials, including thin-gauge stock.
- Diagnose minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Manage basic file/program transfers and maintain organized digital workflows.
Your background
- Must have: 2+ years of manual/CNC experience in setup or programming or a Machine Tool degree.
- Nice to have: Fanuc or Mazatrol control experience; Mastercam or comparable CAM/programming exposure.
- Nice to have: Time on 3-axis mills or lathes; hands-on troubleshooting/maintenance.
- Nice to have: Experience with mold/tool & die, thermoforming, plastics MFG, or thin-gauge materials.
