We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead core people operations and employee support initiatives in California. This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual Spanish-speaking candidate who can guide HR administration, strengthen employee relations, and oversee compliance-driven programs with confidence. The role will also support benefits, workplace investigations, training efforts, and day-to-day leadership of the HR team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead daily human resources operations, ensuring consistent support across employee relations, onboarding, records management, and policy administration.
• Supervise and mentor HR staff while setting priorities, monitoring performance, and promoting a responsive service-oriented team culture.
• Partner with leadership to address workplace concerns, resolve employee issues, and support fair, compliant decision-making.
• Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a key resource for questions related to coverage, enrollment, and plan changes.
• Oversee workers’ compensation matters, coordinating documentation, follow-up, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct internal investigations related to employee concerns or policy matters, documenting findings and recommending appropriate next steps.
• Support employment law compliance by maintaining HR practices that align with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives that help strengthen employee capability, manager effectiveness, and workplace compliance.
• Manage HRIS-related activities to help maintain accurate employee data, reporting, and process efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• HR certification is required or willingness to obtain certification within 6 to 8 months of starting employment.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management.
• Working knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, and workers’ compensation processes.
• Experience leading training and development efforts and managing onboarding activities.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
