About The Role

We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to join a small Learning Solutions team supporting a large library of online compliance training content.\n
\n
\nThis is a hands-on e-learning development role focused on building, editing, and maintaining online courses. The instructional design work, learning objectives, and course scripts will already be developed. The Multimedia Designer will take that approved content and turn it into polished, engaging online learning experiences.\n
\n
\nThe ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise, solid Photoshop skills, good visual judgment, and experience building online learning content.\n
\n
\nWhat You'll Do\n
\n
\n

    \n
  • Build and update online learning courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
  • \n

  • Take completed scripts and instructional content provided by instructional designers and develop the corresponding online course.
  • \n

  • Update existing courses based on approved content changes and track changes.
  • \n

  • Create, edit, and source graphics and imagery to support course content.
  • \n

  • Use Photoshop to modify and prepare images for online learning.
  • \n

  • Select appropriate stock photography and visual assets based on the subject matter and context of the training.
  • \n

  • Work within an internal authoring tool, Course Create, which the team will provide training on.
  • \n

  • Perform occasional basic video editing and video development for select courses.
  • \n

  • Apply good visual design principles to layouts, typography, composition, color, and information presentation.
  • \n

  • Make practical design decisions that support the content without overcomplicating the development process.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with instructional designers and project managers throughout the development process.
  • \n

  • Make updates and priority changes as directed by the project manager.
  • \n

  • Participate in a short daily team huddle to align on projects, priorities, and deadlines.

  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Experience building online learning / e-learning content.
  • \n

  • Strong hands-on experience with Articulate 360.
  • \n

  • Experience with both Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
  • \n

  • Strong Photoshop skills and experience creating/editing graphics for digital content.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and understand written training content and determine appropriate visual treatments and imagery.
  • \n

  • Strong visual design instincts and attention to detail.
  • \n

  • Ability to work from an approved script or storyboard and execute the design/development without needing to own the instructional design process.
  • \n

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
  • \n

  • Comfortable working with changing priorities and occasionally shifting between projects.
  • \n

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • \n

  • Comfortable working on a Windows PC.

  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

  • \n

  • Experience with basic video editing or video production.
  • \n

  • Experience working with stock image libraries such as Getty Images.
  • \n

  • Experience developing compliance, regulatory, corporate, or professional training content.

  • \n

Portfolio\n
\n
\nA strong portfolio is preferred and should demonstrate previous online learning, multimedia, or visual design work.\n
\n
Candidates May Provide

\n

    \n
  • Online portfolio links
  • \n

  • Screenshots of previous work
  • \n

  • Descriptions of projects and their specific contributions

  • \n

Screenshots are acceptable when client confidentiality or NDAs prevent candidates from publicly displaying completed work.\n
\n
\nWork Environment & Project Flow\n
\n
\nThe Multimedia Designer will typically be assigned one primary project at a time, with approximately 1–3 projects potentially active within the workflow.\n
\n
\nProject managers coordinate priorities and determine what work should be addressed first. From time to time, a higher-priority request may require the designer to temporarily pause their current work, make a quick update, and then return to the primary project.\n
\n
\nThe team is highly collaborative and fully remote, making clear communication and responsiveness important.\n
\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\n
\nWe're looking for someone who can execute efficiently and make practical visual decisions.\n
\n
\nThis role does not require finding the perfect image or creating elaborate visual treatments for every piece of content. Much of the training involves regulatory and compliance topics, where a straightforward, appropriate image or graphic may be the right solution.\n
\n
\nThe successful candidate can quickly understand the content, identify an appropriate visual approach, build the course, and keep the project moving.\n
\n
Articulate Storyline + Rise experience is the priority. Strong visual judgment and Photoshop skills are important. Mighty experience is a differentiator.

Schedule\n
\n
\nThe team primarily operates on Eastern Time and prefers candidates who can work within the team's core business hours.\n
\n
\nCandidates in other U.S. time zones may be considered as long as there is sufficient overlap with the team.\n
\n
\nInterview Process\n
\n
\nThe expected process is approximately two interview rounds.\n
