Job DescriptionUnited Talent is immediately hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience, be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.Job Duties:

• Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance (PM) on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment as needed.
• Assist Electronic Technician with electrical and electronic duties.
• Perform welding, machining, and millwright duties.
• Assemble and install new mechanical equipment, entering work orders in the maintenance management system.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Conduct routine checks on all equipment, report deficiencies, and ensure all machinery is in good running order.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free job site, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform other duties as required.

Pay & Shift:

• $18-22/HR based on experience
• During training, the schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Upon completion of training, the shift will transition to Nightshift 8pm-8am - 2/2/3 weekly rotation, consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years as a journeyman-level millwright with additional skills to operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop equipment.
• Strong background in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Machining experience is required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed, including on-call duties, nights, and weekends.
• Electrical background is a plus, but not required.
• The ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus.
• Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes on some or all jobs.
