Developer - AI Agentic Engineer

Position Summary: This is a new role created to establish a core competency in agentic AI systems. The engineer will design and deploy advanced AI agents, build foundational frameworks to support future AI use cases across the organization, and play a key role in shaping the company's AI strategy.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Hands-on coding primarily in Python
• Design and optimize agentic AI systems
• Build AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain
• Integrate AI agents with backend services
• Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• Research and evaluate new agentic AI models and frameworks
• Monitor agent performance and behavior in production
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders
• Ensure ethical and responsible AI deployment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR
• 4 years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• 6 years of application development, systems testing, or related IT experience
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in:
• Artificial Intelligence
• Machine Learning
• Generative AI or related fields

Programming Languages

• Python (strong hands-on experience)
• JavaScript / TypeScript

AI / Agentic Technologies

• End-to-end Generative AI solution development (concept to production)

Agentic/autonomous system concepts:
