Job Overview:

We are hiring multiple Engagement Leads / Consulting Directors for defense consulting delivery. Each seat owns a senior client relationship, runs the engagement, and stays hands-on with the work product (executive PowerPoint and Excel). External management, strategy, or transformation consulting experience is the bar, not a pure government leadership role.

Remote home base is fine; Washington, D.C. / Maryland / Virginia (DMV) preferred. Client-site travel as the engagement ramps, then less once it is established.

Three openings (one per portfolio):

- \n
- United States Space Force (USSF) Lead consulting delivery on a Space Force / space-enterprise portfolio. Clearance: Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required, or a clear current path to it. This bar is firm. Space Force, space systems, or adjacent DoD program experience is a plus.
- Air Force Unmanned Systems (UxS) Lead work on unmanned and autonomous systems in an Air Force program management environment (Directorate of Requirements and Program Management style support, often shortened as DRPM). Mix of program support, acquisition-adjacent advisory, and transformation around unmanned platforms. Clearance: DoD Secret preferred, or ability to obtain and maintain Secret with client-site access. Air Force acquisition, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), UxS, autonomy, or program-office advisory experience stands out.
- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Operations (J3) Lead consulting delivery for a DLA operations portfolio: readiness, supply chain operations, and process or organizational improvement for operations stakeholders. Clearance: DoD Secret preferred, or ability to obtain and maintain Secret with client-site access. DLA, defense logistics, supply chain operations, or J-code / operations directorate client experience is a plus.

Qualifications (all openings)

- Ten-plus years of professional experience, with at least five years leading consulting engagements or major client workstreams
- Background in management, strategy, or transformation consulting; external consulting or professional services delivery required
- Comfortable owning senior-client forums and personally producing executive-ready PowerPoint and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Meet the clearance requirement for the specific opening listed above
