Partnership Health Center located in Hamilton,NJ is offering a part time Front Desk Medical Receptionist position. Hours are every Monday & Tuesday from 8am to 6pm, and every other weekend. The person in this position is part of the team concept in the Center’s health delivery system, which is devoted to the delivery of primary care with an emphasis on prevention and health maintenance.

At this position, a successful Medical Receptionist will have various skills and qualifications including but not limited to:

Greeting patients in a professional and prompt manner both over the phone and in-person.

Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling and appropriate notification.
Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders.
Coordinate front desk and/or other clerical receptionist duties as assigned by the Clinical team.
CONFIDENTIALITY: Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times with regard to protected health information. An understanding and adherence to HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures is paramount.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills in-person, over the phone, and over email.
Candidate must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate must demonstrate organizational and time-management skills to follow through tasks to completion.
Technological skills, such as proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook is required.

Experience:

1-3 years of prior work experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
