Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts, requiring ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and a SC Radiology license (license required if applicable).

- Weekend night shifts only, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (2x12-hour shifts)
- No on-call requirement
- Covers CT and X-ray for ED and inpatient populations, with two techs staffed per shift
- Involves transporting patients to and from the ED
- Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for consults via PerfectServe secure paging
- Facility is a Primary Stroke Center
- Uses Epic Radiant for radiology documentation
- May float to X-ray as needed
- Hunter Green scrub color required

Requirements\n
- \n
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiology license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered CT and X-ray technologist
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including studies with and without contrast
- Experience with head, neck, spine, chest, and vascular imaging preferred
- Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred

- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
- Staff may be required to float to other qualified units or campuses per facility policy
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, along with annual compliance training
- Supports both CT and X-ray operations for ED and inpatient care during night shifts
- Works alongside off-site radiologists for real-time consultation and image review
