🔥 DAY-SHIFT ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – MCLAREN BAY REGION

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) in Bay City, Michigan (Saginaw Bay / Great Lakes Bay Region). Operating within the non-invasive Cardiology Department at McLaren Bay Region—a 399-bed Level II Trauma Center—this position features a structured 4x10 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed weekly). If you are a credentialed RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) sonographer with solid adult echocardiography experience looking to earn $2,547/week with maximum tax-free stipends, this premier Michigan contract is built for you!

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).

  • Weekend & On-Call Coverage: Weekend rotation (every 5th or 6th weekend); standby on-call coverage required based on departmental cardiology needs.

  • Facility & Department: McLaren Bay Region (South Tower, 4th Floor - Cardiology).

  • Clinical Scope & Procedures: Comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), assisting physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echoes, bubble studies, contrast agent administration (Definity/Lumason), quantitative Doppler flow analysis, and wall motion assessment.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer experience required.
  • \n

  • Credentials Required (Strict Document Requirement):\n

    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI.
    • \n

    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • \n

📍 Location Details: Assignment is located at McLaren Bay Region, 1900 Columbus Ave, South Tower 4th Floor (Cardiology), Bay City, MI 48708. ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 05, 2026, through January 04, 2027 (Job ID: 70177). 📞 On-Call & Weekend Agreement: Candidate must agree to departmental on-call requirements and every 5th–6th weekend rotation. 🚫 Local Policy: Permanent residence within a 35-mile radius is considered local (subject to a 10% rate reduction per facility policy). 📋 Submittal Rules & Compliance: Legible RDCS or RCS card and active AHA BLS must be uploaded with initial submittal packet.
