Junior Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters, including probate, wills, civil and family law, and personal injury cases. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development
- Attend court hearings and client meetings to provide legal assistance
- Draft and review wills, trusts, and probate documents
- Support clients in family law matters including divorce and custody issues
- Collaborate with team members on litigation and trial preparation
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to cases
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of probate, wills, civil, family law, and personal injury law
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Prior internship or clerkship experience in a law firm is a plus
