You’ll collaborate closely with field leadership, engineering, estimating, and technology systems teams to keep complex scopes coordinated and on track.

Job Details
Core responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery: kickoff, planning, buyout, install, commissioning, and closeout
- Build and manage detailed schedules, work plans, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress billings
- Partner with field teams to enforce safety standards and quality control; support site logistics and sequencing
- Own job cost management: budget creation, cost tracking, forecasting, and margin protection
- Coordinate design‑assist/design‑build workflows with in‑house engineering/BIM; resolve clashes and maintain as‑built documentation
- Develop strong relationships with owners, GCs, subs, and vendors; represent the project in meetings and site walks
- Coach APMs/PEs; contribute to process improvement and lessons learned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience with an electrical contractor (commercial/industrial/mission‑critical preferred)
- Proven success managing multi‑trade scopes, schedules, and budgets on fast‑paced jobs
- Working knowledge of NEC, local code, and safety standards (OSHA 30 a plus)
- Proficiency with project tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, BIM coordination platforms)
- Strong communication, client‑facing presence, and problem‑solving instincts
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience (preferred)
Nice to have
- Design‑build/design‑assist experience with in‑house engineering teams
- Low‑voltage/technology systems exposure (fire alarm, data, security, automation)
- Experience on occupied/mission‑critical sites with zero‑downtime constraints
