Estimator
We are partnering with a family owned and operated overhead crane company that is growing and looking to add a full time Estimator to their team in Wellington, Ohio. This role owns the quoting process from start to finish, from receiving the RFQ all the way through getting the PO completed, for both new crane builds and service work.
What You'll Do
- Take projects from RFQ to completed PO, seeing the whole process through from beginning to end
- Prepare cost estimates for proposed quotes on new builds and service work
- Create standardized templates for cranes and projects to help shorten quoting times
- Work with the head engineer to establish product pricing
- Work with vendors to get accurate pricing
- Evaluate project profitability and viability
- Prepare bid documents and coordinate required drawings
- Make sure all quotes and bid forms are completed accurately and on time
- Assist in presenting estimates and bid proposals
- Work closely with sales, engineering and other team members to meet customer needs
- Attend estimating and engineering meetings as needed
What They're Looking For
- Prior overhead crane or material handling experience (strongly preferred)
- Cost estimating experience preferred, with industrial manufacturing

Pay: based on experience, plus performance bonuses
