$60,000 – $90,000

We are seeking a hands-on Head Baker to lead daily scratch production and elevate bakery execution across multiple locations in the Denver Metro area.

This is a floor-first leadership role, ideal for a baker who thrives in production, leads by example, and takes pride in consistency, speed, and quality.

What You’ll Do

You will lead daily bakery production and help strengthen consistency across multiple stores.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead scratch production of bakery items including:
    • Donuts
    • Artisan breads & bagels
    • Croissants, Danish, laminated pastries
    • Muffins, cookies, brownies, and core baked goods
  • Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across locations
  • Train, coach, and develop in-store bakery teams
  • Maintain strong execution standards in a high-volume environment
  • Support recipe consistency and production systems
  • Work fully hands-on in production daily (this is not an office role)
  • Troubleshoot quality and execution issues in real time

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7+ years professional baking experience
  • Strong background in high-volume bakery production
  • Donuts, bread, or café/bakery experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys being actively on the production floor
  • Experience training or mentoring bakery teams
  • Strong fundamentals in dough handling, fermentation, and consistency

  • Senior Baker, Lead Baker, or Bakery Manager (production-focused)
  • Grocery bakery, café chain, or donut/bakery concept background
  • Strong operator, not corporate or administrative
  • Comfortable early mornings and fast-paced production environments

  • Fine dining pastry chef without volume production experience
  • R&D-focused baker with limited operational execution
