Job Description
Position Overview:
We are hiring Seasonal Maintenance Assistants for our peak season at our Adairsville, GA facility. We will be hiring for the below shifts:
Monday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Monday - Thursday: 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Friday - Sunday: 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in any repairs requested by the Maintenance Lead
- Oversee the functionality and performance of the print and apply machines. This would also include the necessary preventive maintenance, as well as keeping the machines stocked with the proper materials.
- Repairs to carts, stands, lifts, and material handling equipment used in the daily sorting and transporting of products within the facility. This does not include major repairs or preventative maintenance to powered forklifts but does include the preventive maintenance and watering of all forklift batteries.
- Oversee the functions of the lidding and carton erecting machines. This would include keeping the machines stocked with the appropriate materials, as well as cleaning and preventive maintenance as needed.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use PPE while maintaining equipment (lockout/tag out, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment
- Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment as needed.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance associated with all aspects of automation as well as repairs/replacement of faulty components, using tools such as a multi-meter.
- Make necessary repairs to the building as assigned by the Maintenance Lead
- Timely communication of all concerns and issues with the Maintenance Lead.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use PPE while maintaining equipment (lockout/tag out, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment.
- Tracking of all work performed by keeping detailed records of all work done, parts replaced, etc.
- All job duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma
- Equivalent Work experience would be considered
- 2-3 years of experience
- Skilled in building maintenance and ability to learn on the job.
- Energetic, ambitious, and hard working
- Maintain a Positive, can-do attitude
- Previous building maintenance preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely well organized and great foresight and planning abilities
- Experience in high-speed fulfillment centers a plus
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
- Familiar with simple wiring diagrams and symbols.
- Basic carpentry and plumbing
- Basic industrial controls
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation Range: $21.50 to 24.00/hour
Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
