We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:
- Utilities Process Engineer SME
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing utility infrastructure projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
- Understanding of key utilities operations and critical aspects (chilled water, wastewater treatment, clean utilities, steam) to enable equipment selection and installation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of utility systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues within utility systems.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Supervising and training junior engineers and technicians.
- Reviewing and approving construction plans and blueprints.
- Estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service complaints.
- Technical proficiency to provide guidance on equipment and process selection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industries.
- Experience in direct process / manufacturing areas.
- Must be fully bilingual (English / Spanish) with excellent oral skills.
- Must be proficient using MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge in cGxP and regulatory guidance as well as understanding of how they are applied to regulatory compliance.
- Technical Writing skills and investigations processes.
- Available to work extended hours, possibility of weekends and holidays.
