About the Position
\n
Advanced Mobile Wound Care of Virginia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our growing wound care team serving patients in the Fairfax and Manassas areas.
\n
The LPN will work closely with our clinical providers to deliver high-quality wound care and support patients throughout their treatment. Home health experience is highly preferred, as this role requires strong clinical judgment, patient-care skills, communication, and the ability to work independently in different patient-care settings.

Responsibilities
\n

- Provide hands-on nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Assist providers with wound assessments, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform wound care treatments and dressing changes according to established care plans.
- Monitor wounds for signs of infection, complications, and changes in condition.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding wound care and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient care and follow up on clinical needs as directed.
- Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.
- Travel between assigned patient locations as needed.
- Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
\n

- Current and active LPN license in Virginia.
- Previous nursing experience required.
- Home health experience strongly preferred.
- Wound care experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned locations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
