Position Overview:
Location: Financial District, Manhattan — Fully in-office, Monday–Friday
Title: Personal Injury Attorne
Practice Area: Personal Injury (Plaintiff)
We are seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney with 5–8 years of experience handling premises liability and motor vehicle accident cases in New York. The ideal candidate is a skilled litigator who can independently manage a caseload from filing through trial preparation and has strong courtroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conduct depositions, court conferences, and motion arguments
- Develop case strategies and evaluate case value
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and efficient case progression
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
- 5–8 years of litigation experience in personal injury, with a focus on premises liability and motor vehicle accidents
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
- Strong work ethic and a client-focused mindset
