Client Overview:
Our client is a well-known company that delivers electricity to the NY Metro Area. They are looking to add a Technical Project Manager (Agile SaFe) to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70/hr - $80/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager (Agile SaFe) to lead and deliver complex technology projects. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and technical understanding to ensure successful execution from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate manages Agile Delivery, develops, automates, and manages software production and test environments with a focus on DevOps. Please note you must have a Green Card or US Citizen. H4 Visa is ok. We cannot work on a C2C.

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager (Agile SaFe):

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage technical projects from start to finish.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered within scope.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to stakeholders in an effective manner.
  • Oversee quality assurance and testing processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

Required Experience/Skills for the Technical Project Manager (Agile SaFe):

  • 10+ years of experience in technical project management.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/SAFe Agile (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
  • Ability to define, implement, and maintain project process guidance (e.g., project plan and subordinate plans), tailoring organizational processes as needed in collaboration with Scrum Master.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Technical Project Manager (Agile SaFe):

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
