EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Contract (3 months)
JOB SITE: Tukwila, WA
PAY RATE RANGE: $35/hr-$38.55/hr
SHIFT: M-F 8am to 4:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY
The Contracts Administrator prepares contract documents and participates in negotiations towards mutual acceptance. The Contracts Administrator works closely with contracting counterparts for aerospace customers and the U.S. Government to ensure the delivery of industry-leading components for premier commercial and military aircraft. The Contracts Administrator will also review and approve order contracts and ensure that all requirements are clearly flowed down to the Operations Team. This individual will work across function areas to ensure that the proper agreements are created to meet multiple business needs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide contractual analysis and interpretation.
- Work with and advise the team on important but potentially subtle contract nuances.
- Be the site-focal point for the final language of Purchase Orders, Teams and Conditions, Long-Term Agreements, and essential customer and supplier communications.
- Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods and services.
- Provide contract summaries regarding contract status and obligations.
- Ensures compliance with governmental law, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies on contracts.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations regarding governmental law, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies on contracting.
- Provides the initial review of customer produced and proposed contract templates.
- Work with corporate resources to obtain legal advice, regulatory issues, compliance issues, and other matters as needed.
- Develop and recommend creative solutions for Ad Hoc requests as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Be familiar with Export Compliance and ITAR regulations and Technology Control Plans
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Contracts, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and protocol.
- Experience working with FAR & DFARS regulations.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and at all levels of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
