Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our growing Data Engineering & Reporting team. You will work closely with the Manager and Director of Data Engineering & Reporting to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to internal stakeholders across operations, finance, integration, and clinical leadership.
This role requires strong technical skills, clear communication, and the ability to distill complex data into digestible reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working across multiple datasets (including EHRs), and motivated by the opportunity to support fast-paced healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance recurring dashboards and reports in Power BI, Excel, and SQL
- Analyze healthcare operational data (e.g., provider productivity, patient volumes, revenue trends) to support affiliate clinics and internal departments
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate outputs
- Extract and clean data from Azure-based data lake and EHR platforms (e.g., AdvancedMD)
- Participate in the testing and validation of EHR transitions and reporting migrations
- Help identify gaps or inconsistencies in datasets and partner with the data team to resolve them
- Present insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and structured way.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or healthcare analytics.
- Proficient in SQL and Excel; experience with Power BI strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud data platforms a plus
- Experience working with EHR data or in a healthcare setting is highly valued
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple reporting requests simultaneously
- Clear and concise communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
