Description for Mill Machinist:
- Set up and operate complex milling machines and traditional lathes safely.
- Machine precision aerospace components from various metals, plastics, and nonmetals.
- Maintain exceptionally tight tolerances and perform regular part quality audits.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, design layouts, and technical specifications.
- Maintain a highly organized, clean, and safe workspace on the facility floor.
Details for Mill Machinist:
- Pay Range: $20.00 – $40.00 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday | Day Shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) OR Night Shift (3:15 PM – 1:45 AM).
- Location: Puyallup, WA.
Requirements for Mill Machinist:
- Prior experience as a CNC machinist or machine operator required (experienced mill operators preferred).
- Proven competency executing setups and modifications on mills and/or lathes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with micrometers and calipers.
- Reliable personal transportation and a track record of excellent attendance.
